Talking about football, it is one of the watched, played and loved game of people. Now, football has become one of the best game which can represent the country. FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association) hosts an international cup once in a four year since 1930 A.D. in which different countries represent their best players. The international cup represents the football status in their country. So here are list of the world cup winning countries of the world:
Brazil:
Brazil is known best for football as it has won world cup for about 5 times. Brazil won its first world cup at 1958 A.D. under the captainship of Hilderaldo Bellini. Since then, it has won other 4 world cups in 1962, 1970, 1994, and 2002. Similarly, Brazil is the only one team that has participated in all World Cup competition. To promote young footballers and talents, Brazil held a national cup named Campeonato Brasileiro Série A.
Germany:
Germany holds the second position in the cup list of the world cup winning by 4 times. Germany lift their first World Cup trophy back in 1954 A.D. under the captainship of Fritz Walter. The other three cups were won in 1974, 1990 and 2014 A.D. Germany hosts a national cup named Bundesliga to promote new footballers.
Italy:
Italy is also known for its best football team. Like Germany, Italy is also chasing Brazil by winning four world cups. Italy won their first world cup in 1934 A.D. The other world cups were won in 1938, 1982 and 2006. Italy is also known as the defending champion as they won the two world cup in a row in 1934 and 1938. Italy hosts a national league named Serie A to promote new footballers.
Argentina:
Though Argentina has made their way 5 times to the finals in World Cup, it has won it only for two times. Argentina has won world cup in 1978 and 1986. Argentina has been able to grab all FIFA World Cup awards despite the FIFA U-17 World Cup. Argentina hosts Argentine Primera División to promote young talents of their country.
Uruguay:
Uruguay was is the first country to lift the World Cup in 1930 as host. They won their second world cup in 1950 which was hosted by Brazil. Uruguay hosts Uruguayan Primera Division to promote young football talents.
Similarly, there are other countries like England, France and Spain who have won only one world cup. England hosts Premier League, France hosts French Ligue 1 and Spain host La Liga to promote new talents of football.
