Prithvi Narayan Shah was the primary king of unified Nepal, he’s attributable for beginning the campaign for a unified Nepal, for Gorkha kingdom enlargement. He was king of Gorkha, he was born as a prince in Gorkha Kingdom, the first wife of King Nara bhupal shah(Chandra Pravawati) raised him, although his biological mother was Kasaulyavati devi.he ascended to the throne of Gorkha at the age of twenty. As king, he valued his folks and enjoyed speech his subjects concerning their general considerations.

Conquering Nuwakot was essential for the unification, as it lay between Kathmandu and the Gorkha District, making it a vital trading route to Tibet. However, he successfully conquered Nuwakot in a subsequent attack in 1744 CE. After capturing Nuwakot, he took possession of the strategic locations in the hills surrounding the Kathmandu Valley. After his conquest of the Kathmandu Valley, Prithvi Narayan Shah conquered other smaller territories south of the valley to keep other smaller fiefdoms near his Gurkha state out of the influence and control of British rule. After his kingdom spread from north to south, he made Kantipur the capital of expanded country which was known as Kingdom of Gorkha by King Tribhuvan Bir Bikram Shah. King Prithvi Narayaṇ Shah was ultimately able to capture little principalities and annex them into Gorkha. This enlargement was crucial because the British colonial forces had already begun colonizing the little kingdoms that kind contemporary Bharat.
