Men are always curious about the actions of girls. In this article I am discussing come of the common actions of girls in Nepal I have personally noticed. I will not say I’m an expert on girls nor will I say I have a very high observation ability. But I think this makes me an even better person to write about it because well even I noticed these behaviors. Without further ado, here is a list of things Nepalese girls tend to do often.
Fixing their hair
Girls in Nepal tend to be extremely obsessed with their hair. I have never seen a girl with a bad hairdo, except for little kids. I once had classes at 6 in the morning and I see girls with wet hair even in the middle of winter unable to dry their hair due to the 19 hours loadshedding. They are willing to catch a cold but are unwilling to trade off clean well done hair. Luckily, there is no power problems right now. Forget going to the rest room to fix their hair, women are constantly touching their hair every once in a while even without a mirror in front of them; no need to talk about when they see one.
The inner child
Every girl has an inner child. Not all of them show it in public, but a lot of them still do. And if they know you even well then they are willing to act like a little kid who just received their favorite candy in front of you. Look out from a tall building in Kathmandu and on a lucky day you might even see young women teenagers and even in their mid-twenties jumping on the roofs of their houses.
Mascara is important, all other makeup can be forgotten
You will never find a girl in the towns and cities of Nepal who doesn’t wear mascara all the time in public. In fact I once visited a girl friend at her home and thought it was someone else opening the door when they forgot to wear mascara; she’d just gotten out of bed. Other makeup can be ignored, just a bit of chapstick or cream is the most, most of them apply.
Physical Contact
Nepali girl from what I have seen tend to make a lot of physical contact. If they have a girl-friend then no problem at all. They will hug them, hold hands and even give a light peck on the cheek when they are among friends. If there are no girls around then they don’t mind tapping your soldier or giving a few playful punches to make contact with men.
Stuff stuff in your pockets
Most Nepali girls tend to wear clothes with no pockets or ones with very small ones. A hand bag is not always comfortable to carry so they will normally find a guy they are close with and dump their stuff in your pockets; be it their phone, a bottle of mascara or other makeup, phone chargers, etc. I was once wearing a jacket with 4 pockets on a class trip and I had three of them full with the stuff from the girls. I feel I was abused right now :`(.
Selfies
The trend of selfies has been growing a lot recently. In Nepal you will see girls taking selfies all the time. They take it with friends; they take it when they can’t find anything else to do; you can even see them taking selfies in the middle of the road to show that this is the road I took to get to work today. Ask a girl for her phone and you will see that 80% of the photos in them are selfies.
